Editable Display Banners: A Must-Have
There are many types of classroom banner options online and in stores. We’ve all been tempted by those under $5 options in Bullseye’s Playground, or the more expensive choices at the local teacher store. However, in my experience, you can’t go wrong with a printable banner, especially if it includes editable options. Here’s just a few reasons why:
- Store-bought banners include one option. We can’t always find what we need in a prepackaged set, or have to buy multiple packs to get the letters we want.
- Banners suffer from wear and tear. We won’t even get into what happens when one little darling rips off the W of your WELCOME banner on day one. With printable banners, it’s an easy fix.
- So many varieties: with editable options, you’ll be able to choose the shape, size, and style of your banner. The possibilities are endless.

How Do I Make A Banner Display?
With a printable banner kit, it’s easy to make any banner you can think of. Simply select the size you want, then scroll to find the style and letters you need to make your banner. Not sure what size to use? Here’s a few ideas:
Large Banner Letters
Full-size letters are perfect for banners such as “Welcome” signs, teacher name banners, or bulletin board letters.
Medium Banner Letters
Use these for labeling areas of your room, or small displays.
Small Banner Letters
These are perfect to use for word walls, or labeling furniture and cubbies.
